Blood Drives at Holy Trinity Parish take place twice a year, sponsored by the Community Blood Bank of Kansas City. Parishioners are given the opportunity to donate blood in the Social Room of the Main Church by appointment or walk in. Dates are announced in advance in the Bulletin. Fifth Sunday Food Drive:
Each month when there is a "fifth Sunday," parishioners are invited to bring food and personal items for donation to the Church Lobby. Holy
Trinity transports these donations to the Johnson County MultiService Center Food
Pantry, 12425 West 87th Street, in Lenexa. Look for collection canisters in the Church lobby all weekend. We also accept cash donations . Notice is usually given a week in advance of this event in the Church Bulletin. Contact Dennis or Pat Green, 913-495-5597.

Respite Care Ministry is a rewarding ministry giving companionship and care to a person unable to be alone while allowing their caregiver some much needed time away. St. Dismas Prison Outreach
offers a variety of opportunities to support incarcerated juveniles, men and women. For more information, visit.
We visit inmates at county, state and federal facilities, praying, taking Communion and sharing God's love. Mentors are also needed to assist with successful reintegration into society. Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per month, or more if desired Training: Eucharistic Ministry Training (available through the Parish), orientation (1-2 hours) and paperwork required for each facility. St. Vincent de Paul Society
assists the poor and needy within our parish boundaries.
Volunteers are needed typically 1 to 3 hours per week, with on-site training. Or you can help a family for Christmas: Each Christmas, we have the opportunity to reach out and help families that are less fortunate through the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Many, many families come to Holy Trinity needing assistance each year. You can make a big difference in their holidays!!
