Witness to Love - mentoring Engaged Couples The Witness to Love Program needs couples that have been married at least 5 years to mentor newly engaged couples - not only to prepare for a life together, but for a life within the Church as a married couple. If interested, contact Deacon Steve & Marilyn Lemmon at 913-895-0608, or [email protected]Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) In volunteering with this ministry, you will be assisting with full initiation into the Catholic Church. If you volunteer as a sponsor, you will attend ongoing RCIA sessions following 9:30 AM Sunday Mass until 11:30 or noon, and one support group per month. You can also volunteer as part of the Formation Team. If interested, contact Rich Boynton 441-4261, [email protected] or Deacon Stuart Holland, 913-895-0606, at [email protected]VIRTUS to Protect God's Children As a volunteer you can help to educate adults on sexual abuse awareness through the Archdiocese's VIRTUS program. You will empower adults to better control risk and improve the lives of those who interact with the Church. This course is required for all staff and teens/adults who interact with children through parish ministries or events.
