Below are ways you can volunteer to support the adults in our parish as they seek to strengthen their faith lives - these can be an incredibly rewarding form of service.
Preparation for Sacramental Marriage Volunteering with engaged couples means that you help them prepare for a lifetime commitment to each other and to the Church. Lead couples are needed for sessions once or twice a year. Each session has (5) two-hour meetings. Training is one 4-hour session plus on-going formation. If interested, contact Marsha Holland at 913-895-0608, or marriage@htlenexa.orgRite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) In volunteering to assist in this ministry, you will be assisting those who are preparing for full initiation into the Catholic Church. If you volunteer as a Sponsor, you will attend ongoing RCIA sessions following 9:30 AM Sunday Mass until 11:30 or noon, and one support group per month. You can also volunteer as part of the Formation Team.
