Holy Trinity Book Club was formed to provide a discussion group for parishioners to read a pre-selected book and then meet to express their opinions and talk about the content and meaning of the book. Holy Trinity's Book Club is unique because the book selection is generally religious in nature, and the club is also meant to be social, so sometimes the meeting will be followed by a fellowship opportunity. Holy Trinity Parents with Young Children is a Catholic support group for mothers and families. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for families to assist parish programs and for mothers to gather for spiritual, social and educational growth. We have play dates for young children, family events, children's holiday parties, girls' night out, couple-only events, First Fridays devotions and a mother's prayer group. We also provide meals for new mothers & our parish priests and participate in various service activities to aid parish initiatives. Check out our Facebook page to see more details:
Parish Celebration: This social event for all parishioners includes an outdoor mass, BBQ potluck dinner, and dance, held on the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, which generally falls on a weekend in May or June each year. Event coordinators and volunteers are needed to help make it a success.The coordinators meet 3 times for approximately 1 hour per meeting to organize events. Red Hatters is a group of adults who meet socially for luncheons. Those over 50 wear red hats; those under 50 wear pink hats. Locations are chosen by consensus at the previous luncheon and usually posted on the website calendar. Luncheons take place on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1 p.m. Contact Linda McNulty, at 913-599-5749
Trivia Night: Each year Holy Trinity sponsors a Parish-wide Trivia Night which is held in the Quigley Center. Teams are encouraged to sign up, although single participants are also welcome and will be assigned to a team. For information, contact Natasha O'Donnell at email@example.com
