Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious education of children with an emphasis on the Bible and liturgy. Diane Olsen has been the coordinator of Holy's Trinity's CGS program since 1999, developing and structuring the religious formation program for children age 3 to 12 years.
Diane joined the parish after moving into Kansas from the Missouri side, and is married with six children and five grandchildren. She grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and received her BA degree in Philosophy and Math from St. John's College in Santa Fe, and subsequently a Master's in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis on Catechesis of the Good Shepherd from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis.
Diane also serves Holy Trinity Parish on the Evangelization Core Team, and looks forward to seeing the Holy Spirit guide the Holy Trinity community toward a greater sense of faith, community and service for the glory of God. She likes to read fiction and biographies, walk in the park and a good movie!
