Father Michael Kantaka became associate pastor at Holy Trinity in June, 2023. He has assisted with liturgies in past years here at Holy Trinity so is familiar with our parish. 

His most recent assignments include serving as Executive Secretary for the Department of Integral Human Development at the Archdiocese of Kumasi, Ghana and Pastor of St. Francis of Assissi in Kumasi.  

Father Michael earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology of Religious Studies from St. Peter's Seminary, Cape Coast; a bachelor's degree in Mass Media from Washburn University in Topeka, and a Master's Degree in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. 

He has five siblings and enjoys watching documentaries and soccer; also gardening and visiting nature reserves.
