Director, Music Ministryjheronhtlenexa.orgJoe Heron joined Holy Trinity as its new Director of Music Ministry in September, 2024. Joe attended Benedictine College and graduated with a degree in Music Education while also serving as the music team coordinator for the campus ministry. He received his Master's (M.A.) in Music from the University of Florida in 2016.
Joe has experience working with a variety of music ensembles, including high school choir and band. In addition to teaching piano/vocal music and playing professionally, he worked as the Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Paul's Parish in Olathe from 2017 to 2024.
His favorite thing about being a Catholic musician is helping convey the truth and beauty of music in the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. He and his wife, Cayleigh, live in Olathe with their four daughters.
