Prayer Requests
One of the most important ways we can support our loved ones is through PRAYER.
Please keep in mind those:
- Suffering from physical and mental health issues
- Healthcare workers and volunteers
- Elderly or homebound
- Grieving or going through loss
- With job loss or financial difficulties
- Our priests and clergy
How can we pray for you? Submit a prayer request, and we’ll send it out to our prayer warriors. If you’d like to join the prayer request group, click here.
Mass Intentions
The Catholic Church considers the Mass the highest form of prayer. You may request a Mass to be offered for a loved one or a special intention. A $10 stipend is customary, as suggested by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Masses with special intentions are celebrated twice daily at Holy Trinity. One weekend Mass is always offered for the people of the parish at Father Mike's discretion.
To request a Mass, visit the Parish Office (9150 Pflumm Rd) Monday–Friday, 8AM–4PM. Specific dates cannot be guaranteed; watch the parish bulletin for scheduled intentions.
Perpetual Candles
Lighting a perpetual candle is a prayer lifted to God through the saints' intercession. At Holy Trinity, you may have a candle lit in the Main Church for a special intention or in honor/memory of a loved one.
- Blue candles: before the Blessed Virgin Mary
- Red candles: before the Sacred Heart of Jesus
- Each candle burns for one year and includes a plaque with your intention.
- Cost: $100/year, renewable annually.
- To reserve, visit the Parish Office.
