Our Mission & Position Responsibilities: 

Our mission at HTEEC is to provide an environment that supports each child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Our center has a cooperative teaching model, and our teachers collaborate with co-teachers on lesson plans, classroom management, and parent communication for approximately 15-20 students. We serve families Monday-Friday, 7:00-4:30 pm, and have various shift options within that time frame. 

2 1/2 to 3 Year old Preschool Teacher

Holy Trinity Early Education Center is hiring a passionate and steadfast 2 1/2 to 3 year old full-time teacher who values play as learning and enjoys sharing the wonders of the Catholic faith.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, has at least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare center, and can complete all KDHE and Archdiocesan requirements for employment, which includes fingerprinting and a background check. This is a full-time, non-exempt position and benefits eligible.

  • Understands and follows the principles of developmentally appropriate practice in their teaching methods and classroom management techniques. 

  • Enjoys introducing children to new ideas and experiences through play.

  • Commits themselves to fostering and enriching their students’ academic, social, and spiritual growth.

  • Can naturally connect with students, parents, and coworkers from a variety of personal and developmental backgrounds to form professional relationships based on respect and trust. 

  • Understands and constantly follows all regulations of their position, including KDHE state licensing regulations, Archdiocesan employment and VIRTUS protocols, and parish and school policies.

Full-Time & Part-Time Teaching Position Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education OR equivalent education/experience preferred
  • At least six (6) months experience working in a licensed early childhood center 
  • Willing to participate in VIRTUS training, required initial and annual health & safety training, maintain CPR and First Aid certification, and pass a TB test, fingerprinting, & background check.

Pay:

$17-20/hr. Dependent on education and experience. Benefits offered to full-time employees (30+ hours/week).
