Welcome to Holy Trinity Early Education Center! For the past 50 years, HTEEC has provided Lenexa and the surrounding area with a safe, faith-filled, and supportive school for its youngest learners. We continue that tradition today by guiding and supporting young children as they grow in knowledge, character, and faith. 

After over a decade of experience working with families, I've found that many parents begin their child's school journey in a state of uncertainty. Perhaps you're finding yourself in a similar situation now- you know preschool and early education are important, but you don't know what type of education is important. There is plenty of information at your disposal: from blog posts and parent groups to research articles and "top 10" lists, but sorting through it all to find the right answer is maddening. 

As you research preschools, you may also be confused by the different philosophies, curriculum styles, and approaches to care. One center offers "play-based learning" while the other offers a "child-centered approach." One preschool uses a set curriculum while another lets students choose their own activities. One says they're focused on Kindergarten readiness while the other doesn't spend much time on formal academics. Which- out of all of these options- is the right choice? 

Here's what I've discovered: the right school is whatever school is right for your child. 

This means that, in order for a school to be right for your child, it needs to know your child. It needs to approach them as an individual and as a human being. It needs to see them as more than a name on a roster or simply a "4 year old." It needs to foster their individual talents, connect to their unique interests, and provide compassionate support to their weaknesses.
