Holy Trinity Children's Center opened in September of 1976, with an opening day enrollment of 40 children and Mrs. Barb Sanders as the founding Program Director. It was the first comprehensive Catholic early education program in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, and the first Catholic early education center to be licensed by the State of Kansas.

In 2007, HTEEC moved to the new "Father Quigley Faith Formation Building” and was renamed “Holy Trinity Early Education Center.”

Holy Trinity Early Education Center will celebrate its 50th year of operation in September of 2026.
